How to Add Sri lankan Holidays to Google Calendar
Open Outlook 2007 you should see sri lankan holidays for 2009.If you have not added sri lankan holidays to Outlook Click here.

Now we are going to add sri lanka holidays to Google Calendar.
-Open Outlook 2007 and click on calendar Button on left side.
-Go to file-> Save As
-Save the calendar as .iCas FileFormat.
-Close outlook and Login to Google Calendar.
-Click on the Bottom Left Add link and then click on Import Calender.See below
-Open Outlook 2007 and click on calendar Button on left side.
-Go to file-> Save As

-Close outlook and Login to Google Calendar.

How to Add Sri lankan Holidays to Outlook 2007
Last week our company folks were talking about Holidays. They need to match a date to work for extra works due to Friday unofficial Holiday. Sri lankan holidays are not supported by Outlook. We definitely need to look into a sri lankan calendar for this.
Some few folks have published a way to add sri lankan holidays to the 2008 calendar.
Here I am going to do the same thing for 2009 but I will explain a way to add Outlook Holidays to Google calendar as well.
First we will Add Sri lankan holidays to Outlook 2007.
Download Sri lanka Holidays for 2009.txt
Follow the Steps:
1. Exit Outlook if it is running.
2. In Microsoft Windows Explorer, locate the following file:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033\Outlook.hol
3. Open the file using notepad.
4. Add the contents of the above text (between Start Copy and End Copy) at the end of the Outlook.hol and save it.
Updating the Outlook calendar with customized events
To update the Outlook calendar:
1. Start Outlook.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. On the Preferences tab, under Calendar, click Calendar Options.
4. In the Calendar Options dialog box, under Calendar options, click Add Holidays.
5. Select the check box for your customized set of events and holidays, and then click OK. For this example, select the box labeled Sri Lanka.
