How to Identify Spam Comments in Blogs

The above screenshot are comments which are posted on nishshanka.net since few days.These are classic spam comments!!!I am writing this to explain how to avoid spam comments being published.Last night i had Skype chat with a friend regarding our personal blogs and he started saying that he has many blog comments than my blog ? (it was a new blog created few months back !)

I had a look @ his website and identified that he has blindly published all spam comments without knowing those are spam comments.

I am getting 10-50 spam comments per day and I have to allocate reasonable time to verify those before publishing.

Don’t be fooled by spam comments .be alert !
Below basic tricks will help you to identify a spam!

1. Look the Name who comments

2 .check whether he has embedded a url to his name(hyperlink)

3. Match the comment content with your post contents? Totally different???

Example Spam Comment:

"Could not find a suitable section so I written here, how to become a moderator for your forum,that need for this?"

*********************

4. Common sense will be the final key to identify any spam comment.

There are different plug in and techniques to detect spam comments but all those will be useless if you are publishing those blindly.

Note: Remember in SEO perspective, publishing spam comments will reduce your SEO ranking factor!
